About Me

I am passionate about healthy soil and the power of compost to regenerate the dirt into soil. I have spent time in Canada working on organic co-operative farms using compost as our primary soil amendment. In the past fews years I've been experimenting with different forms of compost and learning about the fascinating world that exists in our soils. Transforming food waste into fertile compost is one small way to mitigate climate change, sequester carbon and foster the intricate soil ecosystem under our feet.

Kitchen waste pickup
Bike Powered Kitchen Waste Pick Up
Food waste makes up a third of Aotearoa landfills. When food is put into the landfill it breaks down very slowly emitting methane, the most potent of greenhouse gases.

Each week your compost bucket will be picked up and you'll receive a clean bucket to start collecting your kitchen scraps again. When the finished compost is ready you can receive some locally made compost!

Building health soil for healthy plants
Perhaps you've been composting for a while but it's just not going as well as you'd hope or you are just starting out, I can share my experience and knowledge of composting from small scale vermicomposting to larger composting systems.

$80 for 45 minute first consultation
$45 for 30 minute follow up check-ins

How do I get started?
Get in touch with me and we will arrange weekly monthly payment. I'll then drop off your bucket to your home. The following Wednesday I'll pick up your kitchen waste and leave a clean bucket.
